Coming soonA Patreon is being set up for anyone who gets enough out of Synckro to want to put something back.
It will be entirely optional, and nothing will be locked behind it — no badge, no early access, no extra features. Supporters and everybody else will be using exactly the same app. It exists so that the answer to "how do you keep this running?" is not "advertising".
And if you would rather not, that is completely fine. You will not be asked twice.
Why it is free
Synckro exists because watching something with the people you like should not depend on all of you being in the same room — and because the app most people used for that quietly disappeared.
Charging for it would defeat the point. A watch party only works if everyone can get in, and the moment one person in the room hits a paywall, the room is over. So there is no premium tier, no advertising, and no feature waiting behind a subscription. Everybody gets the whole app.
